About Edge

Edge Health is a firm of economists and data scientists with backgrounds in management consulting, economics, statistics, and healthcare. We have worked for many years with NHS hospitals and policymakers, and are familiar with their intimate workings and their challenges. We are now using new technologies centred around use of data to solve these issues at scale.

Since our formation in April 2017 we have grown rapidly to a team of c.20 and worked with more than 50 NHS organisations, including trusts, commissioners and regulators. We are planning to continue to grow at the same pace going forward.

We are a client-facing organisation that sees the value in being close to the challenges we are helping to solve. We spend time working alongside our clients and enjoy seeing the direct impact of our work on patients and people who work in the NHS. Read more about some of the past projects here.

We also have a passion for making our analysis accessible. We have used our technical capabilities to lead in the analysis of the COVID-19 pandemic, with our work reported on national and international networks. We also publish our analysis, where possible. Check out our blog here.
